Chester, WV Flower Delivery by Florist

Arner Douglas Funeral Home flowers and the service hour

Arner Douglas Funeral Home is the named funeral address for the town. Funeral flowers in Chester go there, or to the church named in the notice, rather than to the cemetery or the family's house, and the order should carry the name of the person who died and the hour of the service.

A standing piece or a plant is the usual pairing for a service, and a card with the family's name belongs on it. Sympathy flowers should arrive before the doors open, so choose the delivery day with the service time in mind.

Delivery runs between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. For a Monday service, order for Saturday and note the hour, because a specific time can be requested but it cannot be promised.

Searching for Chester WV flower delivery leads here, to an order form for flower delivery in Chester, WV. A florist in Chester or one nearby makes each bouquet by hand, and the same page works for senders who want to send flowers to Chester from another state.

Which Chester gets the flowers: check the state

An order for flowers can go to the wrong state, because other states have a town of the same name, among them Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia and Illinois. A sender searching for flower delivery in Chester may land on any of them, so the order should name West Virginia and WV, plus ZIP 26034.

Mixing up the states is the main way a delivery goes wrong, and it is easy to avoid. Read the state and the ZIP off the recipient's envelope, and match them to the order before paying.

For a sender who started on the wrong page, the West Virginia page lists towns across the state, and the same cutoff of 1 PM Eastern time applies on every one of them.

Same day flower delivery in Chester is open to orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time, and a sender looking for florists near Chester will find that the arrangement is built by a local florist, not shipped.

Newell and New Cumberland sit next door

The nearest neighbors are Newell, WV and New Cumberland, WV, with Weirton, WV a short way on. New Cumberland is also the seat of Hancock County, WV, so a sender who searches for a local florist and reads about the county may confuse the seat with the town.

Across the line, Columbiana County, OH and Jefferson County, OH lie in Ohio, and Beaver County, PA in Pennsylvania, and a recipient in any of those needs a different page for the order, because an order placed under this name would go to the wrong state.

Anyone typing flower shop in Chester wants a counter, and this page offers an order form instead. The florist is local, arranges the bouquet by hand and delivers it to the door.

Early in the week is the time to order flowers for a Saturday event. Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and flowers delivered on Saturday are the usual answer for a Sunday occasion.

Anniversary flowers for a Chester dinner

The town has 2,205 people by the 2020 figure, on 0.999 square miles, so an anniversary bouquet is a short trip from the florist to the recipient's door. A short trip is no reason to leave the timing loose: an order placed before 1 PM Eastern time is eligible for the same business day.

A mixed vase of roses and soft greens is the classic choice. The flower types may be swapped for what the florist has on hand, but the arrangement keeps its size, shape and value, and a photo of it is sent at no extra charge.

A card with two lines in the sender's own words works better than a printed verse. Order flowers earlier in the week if the anniversary falls on a Sunday, since Sunday delivery does not run.

A sender who has the recipient's address on a card can copy the town and ZIP exactly. For Chester that means ZIP 26034 and the town name spelled in full, with the state written out as West Virginia if the form has room.

Flowers for a recovery at Stone Pear Pavilion

Stone Pear Pavilion is a care address listed for Chester, and flowers sent there are for a resident in a room. Put the full name at the top of the order, add the room, and choose a compact vase that fits a nightstand.

A potted plant is the quieter option and lasts through a long stay. For someone recovering at home, a low arrangement of lasting stems is easier to keep going than a large display.

The arrangement catalog lists each design by size. A get well card of a single sentence is read more than a long one, and the delivery photo shows the sender what the recipient will see.

Browse the catalog of designs before choosing a size. Substitutions of stem types are possible, while the size, shape and value of the design stay fixed, and the photo that follows shows what was made.
