Avis, PA Flower Delivery by a Local Florist

Lock Haven, the seat behind the Avis order

Avis belongs to Clinton County, PA, and Lock Haven is the county seat. That page gathers other towns in the area, which helps a sender who knows only the larger name. Centre County, PA, Clearfield County, PA and Lycoming County, PA are neighboring pages for relatives farther afield.

The borough's ZIP code is 17721, and it belongs on the order beside the street. A florist in Avis or a town close by receives the order as typed, so a transposed digit would send a bouquet to the wrong road.

Flowers delivered Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, reach the same addresses a mail carrier would. Sunday delivery is not available, so a Sunday visit with flowers means ordering for Saturday.

A recipient who lives outside the borough but receives mail in it should list the road as well as the town. Rural routes change numbers, and a florist cannot guess which end of a road a house is on.

Half a square mile and a street of porches

With 1,474 residents sharing 0.495 square miles, the borough is compact, and an order for flower delivery in Avis, PA usually goes to a house or a duplex a few doors from the next. A porch or a side door is worth naming in the notes.

People who search for a flower shop in Avis may expect a counter, but the order is built by a florist near the recipient and handed over at the door. Florists near Avis work from what they have each morning.

Anyone who wants to send flowers to Avis from far away should copy the address from a recent letter. Pennsylvania mail often carries a rural route as well as a street, and the florist needs whichever the recipient actually uses.

Because the borough is only half a square mile, a florist rarely needs a long drive to reach a house, so a late order for Saturday is risky because of the clock and not the distance. Plan flower delivery in Avis PA for Friday when a gift is meant for the weekend, and flowers delivered then have a day to settle before company comes.

Jersey Shore, McElhattan and Woolrich around Avis

A recipient may describe home as near Jersey Shore, PA or McElhattan, PA, and Woolrich, PA comes up too. Read the printed address before deciding which page the order belongs on. Rauchtown, PA and Dunnstown, PA are more names on the same list.

Same day flower delivery in Avis needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time, a deadline that follows the recipient's watch. A sender on a Central watch sees it fall at noon, and a later order moves to the next delivery day.

For the rest of the state, start at the Pennsylvania page. The catalog shows each arrangement before payment.

A sender who wants flowers for a graduate can ask for a delivery to a relative's house on the day of the party. The note should give the host's name, so the bouquet is not left at an empty address.

Names on the gift tag and names on the doors

A gift tag speaks for the sender, so write it with care. Say who the flowers are from, add the relationship in a few words and avoid jokes that only two people would follow.

Use the recipient's full name on the tag and the address line, since a small borough has many households with the same surname. A first name alone can lead a florist to the wrong porch.

A birthday bouquet for a neighbor in Avis, PA works best with a short message and a weekday arrival. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with the size, shape and value of the arrangement as ordered.

A thank-you for a coach or a teacher can go to a school office on a weekday, and a short card naming the team or class helps staff pass it along.

Front desks and shift hours on a weekday order

A workplace delivery lands at a front desk before it reaches a person. Write the company, the department and the person's name, and add the hours the office keeps, since a delivery between 9 AM and 7 PM may arrive when a desk is empty.

Funeral flowers in Avis for a coworker's family are best sent to the service or the family's home, with the day and hour from the notice written into the order notes.

For a retirement or a promotion, ask a coworker whether the office accepts flowers and name a backup person. Order flowers a day or two ahead, and flowers delivered on a weekday will find the desk staffed.

An office that shares a building with others may have a suite or floor that matters more than the company name. Put both on the order.
