Lordstown, OH Flower Delivery by Hand

Lordstown delivery covers more ground than most villages

A village of 3,329 residents in the 2020 count that spreads over more than twenty-three square miles has addresses far apart. For flower delivery in Lordstown, OH, the delivery window, between 9 AM and 7 PM, is the honest promise, not an exact hour.

A hand delivery means a person walks the bouquet to the door, not a carton left on a step. A florist in Lordstown or a nearby village arranges each design, and flowers delivered this way arrive Monday through Saturday.

Same day flower delivery in Lordstown needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time, which is 12 PM for a sender on a Central clock. Later orders are delivered on the next delivery day, and Sunday has no delivery. Lordstown flower delivery is a six-day service.

A long driveway or a road with few houses is the case where a landmark in the notes helps. The postal address is still what the order needs, and the notes can add the gate or the mailbox.

The window is wide because a long stretch of road takes longer than a block of houses, and no hour can be guaranteed. A sender who needs a specific person at the door should say so in the notes.

Flowers for Lordstown and the towns beside it

Niles, OH, Warren, OH, Mineral Ridge, OH, Bolindale, OH and Leavittsburg, OH lie close to Lordstown, and a recipient may use any of them in giving directions. Each has an order page, so the town on the mail decides the page.

Three ZIP codes, 44440, 44481 and 44482, belong to the area, so the number on the mail matters as much as the name. Searches typed as Lordstown OH, or for a flower shop in Lordstown, reach this page.

A house between two towns can carry either name, so the order should copy the mail exactly. The order summary shows town and ZIP together, and one look before payment is enough.

Three ZIP codes are a reason to check the order summary twice; a number from one of the other two means the recipient may be in a different part of the area.

Reading the Trumbull page before ordering

The village belongs to Trumbull County, OH, whose seat is Warren, and Cortland, OH and Girard, OH share the county. The county page lists the other towns, and it is the quickest check for a sender who knows a family only by the county name.

The Mahoning County, OH, Ashtabula County, OH and Geauga County, OH county pages cover recipients across the line, and Pennsylvania lies close enough that an address there is a separate order on a separate page.

One order per address keeps each bouquet with its own card and its own picture, which suits a sender with several relatives in the county.

A sender with a relative in a county nearby can open that county's page from here; the cutoff and the delivery area are stated for each.

Stems swap, the size stays

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand. The size, the shape and the value of the arrangement stay as ordered, and the aim is a finished piece close to the picture.

A Lordstown birthday bouquet planned around one favorite stem is therefore a wish. The card can name the stem, and the picture of the finished piece shows what was made.

The substitution rule is also the reason a design can be chosen with confidence: the size and value stay put even when a stem changes, and a Lordstown florist works inside that rule.

A birthday bouquet for a grandparent can be larger than a desk bouquet, and the catalog labels each size.

A finished piece, photographed

When the florist has finished, a photo of the arrangement is sent to the sender at no extra charge. It shows the real piece, which answers whether the substitute stems look right.

The photo is also a record for a sender who lives far away: it shows what was made, and the order summary shows where it went.

Funeral flowers in Lordstown go to the place of the service or the family's home, whichever the notice names, with the family's surname on the card. Sympathy flowers to Lordstown follow the same six-day calendar.

A recipient who lives alone benefits from a call a day ahead, because an unexpected bouquet is more likely to be accepted by someone expecting it.

Plants outlast cuttings

A plant outlasts cut flowers, which suits a recipient who will be away or a recovery that takes weeks. A bouquet suits a short occasion, a birthday or a dinner.

A Lordstown anniversary on a Sunday is ordered for Saturday or Monday, since Sunday delivery is not available. A recipient who travels often may prefer a plant that tolerates a missed watering, and the card can say so.

To send flowers to Lordstown, order flowers by choosing a size from the arrangement designs, and see the Ohio delivery page for other Ohio towns. Flowers sent for a milestone year suit the larger sizes.

A bouquet for an anniversary is better with a card that names the year, and a plant is better for a couple who travel.
