Lima, OH Flower Delivery, Mon-Sat

The seat of Allen and the towns beside Lima

Lima is the seat of Allen County, OH, and the 2020 count recorded 35,579 residents, so flower delivery in Lima, OH goes to houses, apartment buildings, offices, a college and care homes. Three ZIP codes, 45801, 45804 and 45805, cover the city.

Fort Shawnee, OH, Elida, OH, Cairo, OH, Cridersville, OH and Westminster, OH are close to the city, and Bluffton, OH, Delphos, OH and Spencerville, OH share the county. An order for any of them belongs on its own page.

A namesake in Pennsylvania is the one other place in the country that this order could be confused with, so the summary should read Ohio and one of the three ZIPs before payment. Typed as Lima OH, the search lands on this page.

Same day flower delivery in Lima needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time. People looking for a flower shop in Lima will find a local florist and a hand delivery here instead. For a sender on a Central clock that is noon, and for one on the Pacific side it is 10 AM. An order that misses the line is delivered on the next delivery day, Monday through Saturday.

An order for a college dormitory or a campus office should give the building, the room or department, and the student's name; the florist in Lima works from the line as written.

Springview Manor and other care homes

Springview Manor and Shawnee Manor are among the care homes a sender may name. Give the facility name, then the resident's name as the staff know it, then the room, and the florist in Lima or a nearby town works from that. Lima flower delivery to a care home is simplest when the family has told the staff to expect it.

Some homes hold flowers at the front desk, and the notes can say so. A small arrangement with a firm base suits a bedside shelf better than a tall one, and a plant lasts after the visit ends.

A plant suits a long stay, and a small bouquet suits a short one. Ask a relative which it is before choosing.

Hospital rooms, trays and the front desk

Lima Memorial Health System and Mercy Health St Ritas Medical Center are the hospitals most often named in an order. A bouquet for a patient needs the patient's name, the department and the room, and the front desk may want it left there rather than carried upstairs.

Flowers for a patient should be small enough for a tray table. Delivery arrives between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and visiting rules are the hospital's, not the florist's.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to the sender at no extra charge, which helps when a patient cannot say whether the bouquet arrived.

Hospital front desks often route flowers to the right unit, and the notes can ask for it. Delivery hours do not change: between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Lima parties that fall on a Sunday

A Lima birthday on a Sunday cannot receive flowers that day, because Sunday delivery is not available. Saturday arrives a day early and keeps the surprise; Monday turns the gift into a warm afterthought.

Students at the state college or the university campus in the city often live in shared addresses, so the building name and the room belong in the notes.

A birthday card works best in two lines: one about the person, one about the sender.

A Sunday birthday party can still have flowers on the table if the order goes for Saturday afternoon and is placed before 1 PM Eastern time that day.

New babies and a house that needs quiet

A new baby is a reason for flowers and also a reason to wait: the family may still be at the hospital, so the order should name the address where they will actually be. Delivery is simplest when someone is home between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A short card and a gentle design suit a house with a newborn. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with the size, shape and value of the arrangement unchanged.

Congratulations on a birth, a graduation or a new home can take the same arrangement, since a neutral design fits all of them.

Funeral flowers: the service or the home

Funeral flowers in Lima go to the chapel or church holding the service, with the family's surname on the card and the hour in the notes; an order for the family's home is a separate address.

The city has one cemetery, but graveside placement is not something an online order can arrange, so the chapel is the better address.

A card for a service should carry the sender's name and a relationship, and the family's surname so the florist and the staff know where flowers sent for it belong.

What the front desk needs to see

A care home, a hospital and an office all ask for the same three things: a name, a place inside the building and a sender. An order that gives only a street address may wait while someone looks for the rest.

To send flowers to Lima and order flowers for a doorstep here, choose a size, add the full address and place the order before 1 PM Eastern time. Flowers delivered Monday through Saturday arrive with a photo to follow. The Ohio delivery page lists other towns, and the arrangement designs show every size; a recipient in Auglaize County, OH or Hardin County, OH needs that county's page.
