Antwerp, OH Flower Delivery by Hand

Antwerp is a village of 1,677 people on the edge of Ohio, with Indiana as the neighboring state, and that position is the first thing a sender should keep in mind. This page covers flower delivery in Antwerp, OH and the order details that decide whether a bouquet lands on the right side of the line.

Paulding and Antwerp on one order form

Antwerp belongs to Paulding County, OH, and the seat is Paulding, which has its own page: Paulding, OH. A sender who knows the recipient only as living near Paulding should still enter the village name and ZIP 45813, because a florist works from the written address and not from the courthouse town.

Next door, Allen County, IN and Putnam County, OH are separate pages, and Indiana is the neighboring state. An address across a state line needs an order made for that address, and a bouquet cannot be moved once it is built.

Same day flower delivery in Antwerp is open to orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time. A later order is made on the next day deliveries run, and Sunday delivery is not available, so a gift for a Sunday is ordered for Saturday.

A village of 1,677 and its address lines

By the 2020 figures, 1,677 people live on 1.332 square miles, so orders go to houses, a few apartments and a handful of workplaces. A street number and the recipient's name usually settle a delivery, and the notes can describe the entrance.

Antwerp flower delivery between 9 AM and 7 PM reaches a house when someone is there, so a surprise should be planned around a person who will be home. A time can be requested in the notes, but a time cannot be promised.

For a rural address, copy the route number or box number as printed on the envelope, then add a sentence about the house. Florists near Antwerp have no street sign to read in that case, and the sentence stands in for one.

Workplaces in the village are few, so an office order needs the business name, a department and the person; a sender who does not know the department can write the front desk and the recipient's full name. A recipient who has just moved needs the new address, not the old one, so ask for a recent envelope rather than a memory of the street.

Payne, Hicksville and Convoy on the label

People who say Antwerp may have mail from Payne, OH, Hicksville, OH or Convoy, OH, and the envelope decides which page the order belongs to. A florist in Antwerp builds for the address as written, so the town on the order should match the town on the mail.

Edgerton, OH and Defiance, OH have pages too. To send flowers to Antwerp OH, check the ZIP against 45813, and if it does not match, use the page for the town on the envelope.

A sender who is unsure can ask the recipient to photograph a recent envelope. That picture holds the town, the ZIP and the street, and it takes the recipient ten seconds to take.

A card for an Antwerp anniversary

An anniversary card needs the year and one line only the two of them would recognize. A dozen roses suit it, and so does a mixed vase, and a florist may use another flower type when one is short, with the size, shape and value left as ordered.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, so the sender sees the piece before the evening. To order flowers for a dinner, ask for the later part of the window; it is a request, not a promise.

For a long marriage the year alone can carry the card, and for a first anniversary a short joke does. Either fits the small card the florist attaches. A thank you to a neighbor or a teacher fits a small plant, and the card needs only a name and one line.

Get well on a weekday, with little scent

A recipient recovering at home usually prefers a small, low vase with little scent to a large display. Put the recipient's name and a short get well line in the order, and say when someone is likely to be at the door.

A plant keeps its look through weeks of recovery, and cut stems do not. The arrangement catalog shows both, and flowers delivered on a weekday are easier to receive, since Sunday delivery is not available.

Funeral flowers in Antwerp go to the service site the family names, with the hour in the notes. Anyone who types flower shop in Antwerp into a phone is shown a hand-arranged order, not a counter, and the Ohio delivery page covers other towns. Bouquet delivery is by hand, and flower deliveries here follow the same Monday through Saturday rule.
