Bohemia, NY Flower Delivery and Longer Addresses

Bohemia spreads over 8.605 square miles, which is wide for a community of its size, and the nearest towns with pages of their own are a short drive from many of its streets. Same day flower delivery in Bohemia needs the order before 1 PM Eastern time.

Anything ordered after that hour moves to the following working day. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and Sunday delivery is not available, so flower delivery in Bohemia, NY depends on a clear address and the recipient's clock.

9,852 residents, 8.605 square miles of Bohemia addresses

Bohemia is a census-designated place, and with 9,852 people recorded in 2020 across 8.605 square miles, an order for it may go to a house on a long street, an apartment or an office. Each type wants its own detail on the order.

For a house, give the street number and a word about the entrance. For an apartment, give the unit, and for a workplace the company name and the receiving person. On a long road, the number matters more than a landmark.

The ZIP for this page is 11716. A recipient whose mail shows another ZIP may live in a neighboring town, and the order belongs on that town's page. A florist in Bohemia or near it works from the order exactly as written.

No town hall answers for the community, so the town name on a recipient's mail may differ from the one on an order. A recipient who receives mail under a neighbor's name should give the mailing line to the sender.

Suffolk County, New York, and what Riverhead means

The community lies within Suffolk County, NY, and the county seat is Riverhead. An order for the seat is a separate delivery, so a form that offers Riverhead points somewhere other than here.

Nassau County, NY is the neighboring county. A bouquet for someone there is its own order with the same cutoff and the same days, and the New York state page lists every other town with a page of its own.

A sender with relatives in several parts of Suffolk County can use the county page as a map and place one order for each address.

Ronkonkoma and Sayville on the label: the other names near Bohemia

A recipient's mail may use a larger or a nearby name. Ronkonkoma, NY, Sayville, NY and Oakdale, NY each have their own page, and North Great River, NY and West Sayville, NY are two more.

The town on the recipient's latest letter decides which page to use. The days, the window and the cutoff are the same on every page.

Because the distances can be long, a note about which side of a road the entrance is on, or whether a gate is closed, helps whoever carries the arrangement.

A recipient who works away from home may be easier to reach at a family address. Flowers delivered between 9 AM and 7 PM are best sent when someone is likely to be in, and a note with a request for part of that window is welcome, though it is never a promise.

A Sunday birthday means a Saturday arrival

Sunday delivery is not available, so a birthday bouquet for a Bohemia household celebrating on a Sunday should be ordered for Saturday. The bouquet has a full day in water before the party.

A birthday for a child, a parent or a friend works the same way: the order names the street, the card names the sender and a short note says what the day is for. A catalog design in a vase is usually enough, and larger sizes suit a party.

A Saturday order must still be placed before 1 PM Eastern time to be delivered that day. Friday is the safer choice, with Saturday as the fallback.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, but the size, shape and value of the arrangement do not change. The photo afterward shows what was made.

A new baby and the afternoon quiet

New parents rarely keep a regular schedule, so an order welcoming a baby home is best placed with a note about when someone is usually in. A request for a part of the 9 AM to 7 PM window is only a request.

A low arrangement in a short vase suits a kitchen counter or a nursery shelf. A card with the sender's name and a short line is plenty.

Pastel tones suit a nursery, but flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, so a palette is a wish. Nothing about the type of arrangement changes when a stem does.

Two destinations for sympathy flowers to Bohemia

Sympathy flowers to Bohemia go to the place of the service or to the family's house, and the order should say which. A tribute for a service wants the venue and the hour, while a plant for the family wants a house address.

Because a Sunday service cannot receive a Sunday delivery, the flowers go on Saturday. After the florist finishes the arrangement, a photo of the finished piece is sent at no extra charge.

Funeral flowers in Bohemia should carry the venue and the time. Anyone who types flower shop in Bohemia NY will find an order form, and a Bohemia florist makes the piece.

To send flowers to Bohemia, browse the catalog and order flowers before the afternoon line. Bohemia flower delivery and any florist delivery follow the same Monday through Saturday schedule, and flowers delivered on Saturday are the last of the week.
