Emeryville, CA Flower Delivery by Hand

Once you place the order, it goes to a florist near the recipient. They build the arrangement by hand, take a photo of the finished piece for you and carry it to the door. Flower delivery in Emeryville, CA involves no box and no courier, and the sections below cover what helps along the way.

Emeryville orders that turn out to be Berkeley

The neighbors are close on every side. A recipient who says they live here may have mail addressed to Berkeley, CA, and the reverse happens as well. If the return address reads Oakland, CA, order flowers on that page instead.

Albany and Piedmont are two more towns nearby with their own pages. The schedule is the same everywhere, but the page and the ZIP should match the mail. Streets near a town line can change names or numbering, so the ZIP on the recipient's envelopes is the tiebreaker.

A search for a flower shop in Emeryville finds no counter to walk into here. The arrangement comes from one of the florists near Emeryville, which is how same day flower delivery in Emeryville works: before 1 PM Pacific time for that business day, with a relative on Central time seeing 3 PM at the line.

Units, lobbies and work addresses in 94608

Some 12,905 people lived in the city in 2020, inside 2 square miles, so many delivery addresses are apartments, lofts and office buildings. The unit number or the suite, and the company name for a workplace, are the details most often left out.

Mail for Emeryville CA uses the ZIP 94608, and some addresses use 94662. For a building with a lobby, add who should be called and any entry code in the delivery instructions.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. A morning or afternoon can be requested in the comments, and it is passed on as a wish.

For Emeryville flower delivery to a workplace, weekday mornings are the safest slot, since many lobbies stop accepting packages in the evening. Flowers delivered to a front desk wait there until the recipient is called down.

A lab address needs a department name

The Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center is listed in Emeryville; for flowers to a researcher or staff member there, name the lab or department and the recipient's role on the order, and check with them first that the building still receives deliveries at the address you have, since research groups move.

For many people at a research building, a home address is safer. A bouquet that arrives at a locked lobby after hours has nowhere to go. If the recipient keeps odd hours in a lab, a Saturday delivery to their home may find them in more reliably.

The city sits in Alameda County, CA, where Oakland is the county seat, and that county page gathers Fremont, Hayward and the other places we reach. Past the line, Contra Costa County, CA has its own page, and the California delivery page links the other counties.

Birthdays that fall on the one day off

Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in California through this site, so a birthday on a Sunday needs a Saturday order. Place it before 1 PM Pacific time on Saturday, and write the card so it makes sense a day early.

Monday is the other option if the celebration continues into the week. For a birthday in Emeryville sent to an office, Friday often works best, since the team is there to see it. A coworker's Sunday birthday is often marked at work on Friday or Monday; ask the team which day they plan to celebrate.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement you picked in the catalog.

Newborn flowers for an Emeryville apartment

New parents are often home a day or two after the birth, and the first week is busy. Check with a grandparent or a friend which day the family will be back, and pick a day when someone is sure to be in.

To send flowers to Emeryville for a new baby, something compact suits a small apartment better than a tall arrangement. Once it is finished, a photo of the arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. If the building has a front desk, ask whether it holds deliveries for residents, which spares a new parent a trip to the lobby.

The chapel, or the family's kitchen table

For sympathy flowers to Emeryville, decide first where the piece belongs. Standing sprays and wreaths go to the chapel or mortuary holding the service, with the deceased's name and the service time in the comments.

If the service is held outside the county, order on the page for the town where it takes place. Something smaller suits the house better, often a few days later when visitors have gone. Several flower deliveries to one address can share an order. An Emeryville florist delivery that arrives wrong can be raised within 3 days, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit can follow.
