Coffee County, AL Flower Delivery

Substituted stems and the finished photo

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. That is the first thing worth knowing about a fresh product bought from a distance, and it is more reassuring than it sounds: the design, its dimensions and the amount paid are fixed, and only the individual stem can move. The second thing is the record. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, which means the substitution is something you look at rather than something you are told about. Anything that seems wrong should be raised within three days of the delivery, because cut flowers cannot be judged fairly after that point.

Cutoff hours on Central time

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach the recipient the same business day, and the clock belongs to the delivery address. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available, so a Sunday occasion is covered on the Saturday before it. Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred hour can be noted without being promised, since the route sets the order of the stops. During Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff can fall earlier than usual. Nothing about the size of Coffee County changes any of these figures: an address on the northern line and one on the southern line work to the same deadline.

Birthdays, retirements and get well orders

Celebration orders are the ones with room to spare, because the date has been known for months. A midweek birthday can be filled the same day when the order clears the deadline, and a Sunday birthday is covered by a Saturday delivery. Retirement and new job flowers do better at the home than at a workplace nobody has described to you, unless you know the hours somebody keeps. Get well flowers go either to a hospital room or to a house in Coffee County, and the choice turns entirely on how long the stay is expected to run, since a short admission is better served by something waiting at home when the patient walks in.

Six ZIP codes and four towns

Enterprise, AL is the largest place here and sits under 36330 and 36331. Elba, AL is the county seat, under 36323. New Brockton, AL lies between them in 36351, and Kinston, AL sits south under 36453, with 36467 reaching the southern edge. About 56,000 people live across 679 square miles, and Enterprise, Elba, New Brockton and Kinston each keep a page under this one. A postal code on the order does more good than a town name once you are off the main roads, because the mailing address and the place somebody lives are not always the same.

Those six codes are the part of a Coffee County address worth checking twice. 36330 and 36331 both sit over Enterprise, so the code on its own will not say which side of town an address is on and the street line has to carry that. 36323 covers the seat, 36351 belongs to New Brockton on the road between the two largest places, 36453 to Kinston and 36467 reaches the southern edge. A workplace address wants its closing hour in the notes as much as it wants a suite number: the window runs to seven in the evening, but a clinic or a school office anywhere in Alabama that locks its door at four thirty cannot take a delivery at six, and on a Saturday many addresses in Coffee County are closed long before a route reaches that side.

Sympathy orders in the county

A service sets an hour nobody can move, so the day the order is placed is the only thing left to decide. Standing pieces go to the room the service is held in and need height to read from the back. Smaller designs go to the family home and are often more welcome in the week afterwards. Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 987 Drayton Street, Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center at 300 Plaza Drive and Medical Center Enterprise at 400 North Edwards Street are the named health addresses in Coffee County, and any of them may be where a long illness ended. Two of those three stand in Enterprise and one in the seat, so the town line on the order counts for as much as the building name: Medical Center Enterprise takes a patient delivery at a hospital desk, while Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center is a residence where a hall number is what gets the flowers to the right door. Write the name of the person who died on the card message rather than only the surname.

How to choose a size

Scale decides more than color does. A tall vase piece needs a surface with space around it, and on a hospital tray table it will be moved within the hour. A low bowl fits a bedside, a desk or a windowsill. A plant suits a workplace or a gardener and asks nothing of anyone in between. The arrangements on offer each list the size they were ordered at, and the next size up is more stems inside the same outline rather than a different design. For a home you cannot picture, the middle size in a vase is the safest choice, and it fits through a doorway that a taller piece has to be turned sideways for.

County pages next to this one

Three counties border Coffee County and any of them may be the page you actually want: Dale County, AL to the east, Geneva County, AL to the south and Covington County, AL to the west. Each carries the same deadline, the same six-day week and the same window as this page does. The Alabama county index lists all of them together, and flowers delivered anywhere in Alabama run on one set of terms wherever the address turns out to be.
