Flowers Across Oconto County, WI

Three Towns And A Wide Map

Oconto County holds 40,037 people across 997 square miles, and three of its towns have pages here: Gillett inland, Oconto Falls in the middle and the seat on the bay. Three ZIP codes cover them, 54153 and 54154 among them.

The city on the water keeps a page of its own, distinct from this county page, so Oconto lists what sits inside the city while this one indexes the whole county. If you already know the town, the town listing is the shorter way in.

Substitution Without A Downgrade

A named flower can be substituted for whatever the nearest florist holds that morning, while the type of arrangement keeps the size, the shape and the value it was ordered at. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender, which for a bay address an hour from anywhere is the only proof that travels.

Framing the order around a color and a size rather than one variety is the practical move in a county this thinly settled. One cooler serves a long stretch of road here, and the piece that arrives will look closer to what was pictured.

A Funeral Service In Oconto

Gallagher Funeral Home takes deliveries against a named service, and the name of the person who died belongs on the card because more than one service may run in a day. The standing piece goes where the service is held; the smaller one goes to the family home afterward, where somebody can look after it.

Sympathy orders are also the ones most often placed from out of state, which makes the delivery photo more than a courtesy. Somebody who cannot be in Wisconsin for the service at least sees what stood in the room.

Gillett Orders, Today Or Tomorrow

The seat and Oconto Falls carry most of the traffic here while Gillett sits on its own to the west, so naming the town as well as the postal code saves a guess. Three towns is a short list, and the short list is the whole point of a page like this one.

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to an Oconto County address, and after that hour it becomes tomorrow rather than today. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday to Gillett and the other two towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and the window on any working day is between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A Sunday service therefore needs a Saturday arrival, and 997 square miles is a long way to recover a missed hour, so the Friday is the safe day to order. A particular time can be asked for in the notes but never promised.

Outside the three towns the addresses are fire numbers on forest roads. Describe the building, name the drive, and give a working contact number for the recipient. Give them one even if the address looks complete, because a wrong turn out here costs an hour rather than a block.

An arrival at Gillett or Oconto Falls that is wrong has three days to be raised, and the answer is a replacement, a refund or a partial credit. Brown County, WI lies south, Marinette County, WI runs north along the bay, the full catalog sits at the product index, and the state list is at Wisconsin county flower delivery.
