Buffalo County, WI Flowers on 676 Square Miles

Five Towns Between Alma and Mondovi

Mondovi holds the one named care home on this page and Alma is the seat, with 676 square miles of Buffalo County between and around them. Fountain City, Cochrane and the town of Buffalo City fill in the rest, and each of the five keeps a page of its own beneath this one.

Cochrane's page and Fountain City's page each list what that town alone holds, and the county page is the one to use when the sender knows the county and not the town. With 13,464 people on 676 square miles the difference between two towns is a stretch of county road, so the ZIP code on the order does more work than it would in a city.

American Lutheran Home-Mondovi is the single named institution in Buffalo County, and it works off 54755. Flowers for a resident there go to the front desk with the room number on the card, and staff carry them through between 9 AM and 7 PM like any other Wisconsin care home.

Seasonal Swaps at the Mondovi Cooler

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist nearest Mondovi has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and in a county of 13,464 people that cooler holds what sells in a week rather than a warehouse of everything. The swap is a color match first and a different flower second.

Once the florist has made it, a photo of the finished arrangement reaches the sender at no extra charge, and for a 54622 order placed from two time zones west that photo is the only look at the porch it landed on. Anything wrong is raised inside three days of the Cochrane delivery, not three days from the order.

The ZIP Codes at Cochrane and Alma

Five ZIP codes cover Buffalo County, from 54610 up to 54756, and the town pages for Cochrane and Fountain City each carry the one that belongs to that town. Naming it on the order is the one detail that saves a phone call on a county road.

Order before 1 PM Central time and same-day flower delivery reaches any of the five Buffalo County codes, while an order entered at two in the afternoon moves to the next working day. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday in all five towns, and Sunday delivery is not available on 54755 or anywhere else on this page.

A Sunday service at Alma therefore takes its flowers on the Saturday before it, and with a Friday order the family still has the morning to change the hall. A wing or apartment number on a Mondovi address is worth more than the street name to someone who has never driven it.

Choose a Shape for Fountain City

A kitchen table in Fountain City takes height that a care home tray at Mondovi never could, so on this page a tall vase is rarely the wrong call unless the address is 54755 and the room is shared. The catalog shows every Buffalo County design at the size it is sold in.

Across the river the pages belong to Wabasha County, MN and, further south, Winona County, MN, while Trempealeau County, WI takes over on the Wisconsin side to the east. Every other WI county page sits on the Wisconsin county index, and Buffalo County is its five town entry along the water.
