Sympathy flowers ordered from far away follow the same same-day timing as any other design, and the photo you receive afterward shows what the family saw.

Some families ask for donations instead of flowers. In that case, a small plant sent to the house a few days after the service is a quiet way to show you are thinking of them, without competing with the wishes in the obituary.

New Baby and Birthday Flowers

A new baby at Howard Young Medical Center calls for a small, soft design that fits a crowded shelf. At home, a modest bouquet or a plant for the nursery works well.

A birthday in Woodruff suits bright mixed colors, and an anniversary roses or a design held to one color. Get well flowers should be compact, and a thank-you works as a plant that lasts.

You can order flowers for any of these from out of state, with the date chosen at checkout and the card message typed once. Flower deliveries to a workplace are simplest on a weekday.

Substitutes, Sizes and the Photo

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. The piece is kept as close as possible to the one you chose in the selection of designs.

A substitution replaces a stem; it never swaps the vase, the style or the size. A design ordered large is made large.

Once the florist has finished, a photo of the arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. For a sender who cannot be there, it is proof of what arrived, and flowers delivered by hand arrive in water, not in a box.

A damaged or wrong design at a 54568 address should be reported inside three days, while the flowers are still fresh enough to judge. A replacement, a refund or a partial credit can be considered, depending on the problem.

The picture also helps if something needs fixing, since it shows what the florist made before the arrangement left for the door.
