Benton County, AR Flower Delivery

Sixteen towns in Benton County have a delivery page here, and eighteen postal codes sit under them. That is the practical fact this page exists to handle. An address in 72712 and an address in 72761 are both in the same county in northwest Arkansas, but they are the better part of an hour apart, and the flower order that serves one is not on the same run as the one that serves the other.

Substitutions, and what stays the same

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has available on the day. What does not change is the arrangement itself: no change in size, no change in shape, no change in value. The care goes into keeping the finished piece as close to the item you ordered as the week's stock permits, and that is a more honest promise than pretending a particular stem is sitting in a cooler somewhere in AR every week of the year.

A photograph of the completed arrangement is sent to you once the florist has built it, at no extra charge. It shows what was actually handed over. That matters most on the orders where nobody you know will see the flowers in person, which in a county this size is a large share of them.

Funeral and memorial orders in the county

Sympathy orders are the ones where the timing does the heavy lifting. Benton County Memorial Park and Stockdale Moody Funeral Services, both in Rogers, and Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs each run to a service time that was set days earlier. At checkout, give the time of the service rather than the hours of the visitation, and name the chapel or the room if the notice names one.

For hospitals and care homes the rule is different. Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas and Siloam Springs Regional Hospital take patient flowers at a desk, as do Concordia Nursing and Rehab in Bella Vista, Bradford House Nursing and Rehab in Bentonville and Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton. A room or unit number in the notes saves a driver standing at reception with a surname and nothing else. Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette and the several rehabilitation centers in Rogers work to the same pattern.

Birthdays, new babies and thank-you flowers

Most orders are not sad ones. A birthday somebody forgot until the morning of, a new baby, a first day in a new job, an apology that needs to arrive before the end of the working day: those are the orders that make a cutoff time worth understanding. For a workplace address, remember that the delivery window runs into the evening and an office may empty long before it closes, so a home address is often the safer choice for anything sent late in the week.

Gated communities are the other recurring complication here, and the fix is simple. A gate code, a building number or the name on the intercom in the delivery notes is worth more than a detailed description of the house.

The county and the city that share a name

There is also a town called Benton in this state, and it is not in this county. It sits well to the south and it has a delivery page of its own: Benton, AR is a separate page for the city itself, and the page you are reading covers the county in the northwest. If the address you have says one of them, check the postal code before you order, because the two are several hours apart by road and nothing about the town name will tell you which is meant.

The 1 PM cutoff and the delivery window

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time are worked the same business day. The clock that counts is the recipient's, so a sender two zones to the west is really working to a late-morning deadline. Flower deliveries take place Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is not a delivery day, which means a Saturday afternoon order becomes a Monday one. Arrangements are handed over between 9 AM and 7 PM, and the route decides where in that window a given address falls. During the four peak holiday weeks the same-day cutoff can be earlier than 1 PM.

A requested delivery time can be passed to the florist and is often met, but it is never sold here as a fixed appointment, because the run is assembled after the day's orders are in rather than before.

Sixteen towns, eighteen ZIP codes

The larger pages are Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista and Siloam Springs. Smaller ones cover Centerton, Cave Springs, Lowell, Pea Ridge, Gravette, Gentry, Decatur, Highfill, Garfield, Avoca, Little Flock and Prairie Creek. Each carries its own postal codes and the named places we deliver to there.

Growth is the reason the list keeps changing shape. Several of these places were small enough twenty years ago to be described by the road they sat on, and they now have their own postal codes and their own schools. If the address you have was written down some time ago, the postal code is the part to trust, because a town name in this part of Benton County can have moved boundaries since anyone last checked it.

On the eastern and southern sides the county meets Carroll County, AR and Washington County, AR, both with pages here. To send anywhere else in Arkansas, start from the Arkansas delivery page, or browse the arrangements by occasion first and sort the address out at checkout.
