Buncombe County, NC Flowers, Delivered

Pick A Size For A Mountain Room

Buncombe County, North Carolina holds 279,210 people on 656 square miles, and the rooms they live in vary far more than that figure suggests. Pick the size against the room: a cabin outside Black Mountain has ceiling height to spare, and a walk-up apartment in Asheville generally does not.

Flower types get substituted for what the florist genuinely has that morning, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. The catalog lists each design at its built size, and for a 28801 address where the stairs are narrow that number is the one worth reading twice. Substitution is not a downgrade and it is not a surprise; it is the thing that makes a same-day arrangement possible at all.

Eleven Towns Around Asheville

Eleven towns keep pages of their own beneath this page. Asheville is the seat and carries thirteen of the twenty three named buildings; Black Mountain has six of its own, and Weaverville and Swannanoa two each. Woodfin, Montreat and Biltmore Forest are the smaller pages in the set.

Fifteen ZIP codes cover Buncombe County, running from 28704 through 28815. A town page is the faster route whenever the town is known, since it carries that town’s own buildings and its own codes rather than the whole county’s. Asheville alone runs across five of those codes, which is why a street name without a code is rarely enough here.

Hospital Desks And Apartment Doors

A care address takes flowers at a desk and not at a room door, and the desk needs the name spelled the way the record spells it. Aston Park Health Care Center and Givens Health Center both sit in Asheville, and both want a room or a wing written into the notes before the order is placed.

Apartment doors are the other hard case. A unit number and a buzzer code do more for a delivery than a street name alone, and in a county of 279,210 people the street names repeat. Harwood Home of Funerals in Black Mountain and West Funeral Home in Weaverville take standing work at the building holding the service. Deerfield Episcopal Retirement is a third Asheville address that works the same way, and a resident name is worth more to it than a building number.

Weaverville And The 1 PM Line

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time reaches a Buncombe County, NC address the same business day, and the hour belongs to the recipient, so a sender on the Pacific coast has until ten in the morning to get it in and a sender in the Central zone until twelve.

Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday to all eleven Buncombe towns, Sunday delivery is not available in 28787 or anywhere else in the county, and arrivals land between 9 AM and 7 PM. An hour inside that window can be requested and cannot be guaranteed, which on mountain roads in January is the only honest answer.

Five counties border Buncombe County, NC. Henderson County, NC lies to the south, Madison County, NC to the north, and Haywood County, NC to the west. McDowell County, NC and Rutherford County, NC close the ring to the east. Every county in the state keeps a page of its own on the North Carolina county index.
