Union County, NC Flowers to Fifteen Towns

Monroe Orders and Same Day Runs

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time reaches a Monroe address the same working day, and 28110 is the busiest of the nine ZIP codes here. Union County keeps eastern hours, so the cutoff a sender reads is not the cutoff on their own clock unless they are in the same zone.

Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday to all fifteen Union towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and the arrival window is between 9 AM and 7 PM. With 263,386 residents spread over 633 square miles, an afternoon slot at one end of the county is not an afternoon slot at the other.

Union County, NC has been filling up faster than its road network has, and the western towns feel that most. A late morning order for 28104 is a safer bet than one placed at five to one, and the difference is traffic rather than distance.

Seasonal Swaps at Waxhaw

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand that morning, and the type of arrangement does not change with them: size, shape and value all hold. A Waxhaw order in February and the same order in July are built from different stems and come out the same piece.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist covering Monroe has made it, at no extra charge. It is the part of the process senders in other states value most, because 28173 is a name on a screen to them and the photo is the only thing that turns it into a delivery.

Sympathy Work Out of Marshville

For a service, the piece goes to the place the service is held. Autumn Care of Marshville takes deliveries for residents at Marshville, and Atrium Health Union at Monroe is where most of the get well orders on this page are headed instead.

A room number beats a street address at either. Standing pieces need floor space and an easel, so they belong at a chapel rather than in a hallway, and the smaller arrangement is the one a family can take home afterward without a second car.

Jesse Helms Nursing Center and White Oak of Waxhaw both take deliveries for residents as well, and both want a room number on the card. In North Carolina the difference between a chapel address and a home address is the difference between one delivery and two.

Fifteen Towns, One Fast Corner

Indian Trail, Stallings and Weddington sit along the fast north west corner where the county meets the city line, while Wingate and Marshville sit out east on slower roads. Nine ZIP codes cover the lot, from 28079 to 28174.

Each of those towns keeps its own page beneath this one, and that page is the better place to start when the town is already known. This page exists to hold them together and to state the terms that apply to all fifteen at once.

Mineral Springs, Marvin and Lake Park are small enough that a street name alone is usually sound, while a Monroe address at 28112 is not, because the same street numbers repeat across the town.

Mecklenburg County, NC lies immediately to the west and Anson County, NC to the east. The rest of the state is in the North Carolina county index, and every design that can be sent to a Union address is in the catalog.
