Flowers Across Orange County, NC

Unc Hospitals in Chapel Hill is the single busiest delivery address in Orange County, NC, and a room number there does more than any other line on the order. Four towns keep pages under this one, which is few for a county of 152,877 people, and it means each of those pages carries a lot of ground on its own. Eight ZIP codes cover the four towns, and 27514 carries a large share of everything sent here.

A Birthday Delivered To Efland

A birthday order to a house in Efland and one to a student address in Carrboro want different things. The first can be tall, because there is somewhere to put it; the second should be small enough to move in one trip and to survive a shared kitchen. A student address also needs a building name, because a campus code alone will not find a room.

Where the recipient is in a room at Carol Woods or The Cedars of Chapel Hill, low and light beats large every time. Staff move arrangements when a resident cannot, and a piece that needs two hands is a piece somebody has to deal with twice in a day.

Pick a Size For Chapel Hill

Size is the first decision and the one senders skip. The catalog lists the same designs at more than one size, and the size ordered is the size that arrives anywhere in Orange County, NC, because flower types may be substituted while the type of arrangement is not. Nothing changes in shape or in value between the order and the door.

Chapel Hill and Hillsborough are very different delivery addresses: one carries 27514, 27516 and 27599 between them, the other 27278 and the county offices. Knowing which of the two the address belongs to takes the guess out of it.

Four Towns and a Seat

Four pages sit below this one and no more, because Orange County, NC is compact by North Carolina standards at 398 square miles. Alamance County, NC lies to the west and Durham County, NC to the east, and the state index of counties lists them along with everything else. Efland is the smallest of the four and the easiest to miss on a map of North Carolina.

Knotts Funeral Home and Walker's Funeral Home both take sympathy arrangements in Chapel Hill, while Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center is a different kind of address again. Where the service hour is known, it belongs on the order rather than in a follow up. Hillsborough and Carrboro are close enough that a family may be ordering into both on one afternoon.

The 1 PM Line In Hillsborough

An order placed before 1 PM Eastern time reaches an Orange County, NC address the same business day, counted on the recipient's clock rather than the sender's. Flower deliveries run Monday through Saturday to all eight of the county's ZIP codes, Sunday delivery is not available, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes back at no extra charge, which is the part senders outside the state tend to remember. Anything that looks wrong has three days to be raised, and a Hillsborough order ends in a replacement piece, a refund, or credit for part of what was paid. Three days is the window because flowers do not keep.
